Installation walkthrough
Step 1: Deploy VPS
Deploy VPS from ColossusCloud control panel with Ubuntu 22.04 or 24.04 LTS, at least 1 GB RAM.
Step 2: Connect via SSH
ssh root@your-vps-ip
Step 3: Run installer
sh <(curl https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh || wget -O - https://cyberpanel.net/install.sh)
Follow prompts:
- Select CyberPanel with OpenLiteSpeed (free)
- Choose Full installation
- Enter strong admin password
- Select Yes for Memcached and Redis
Installation takes 10-20 minutes.
Step 4: Access dashboard
https://your-vps-ip:8090
Installing WordPress
CyberPanel makes WordPress installation simple:
- Go to Websites → List Websites
- Click Manage next to your site
- Select Application Installer → WP + LSCache
- Enter site details
- Click Install Now
WordPress installs pre-configured with LiteSpeed Cache for optimal performance.
Security hardening options

Network-level protection
Configure through ColossusCloud control panel:
- Allow ports: 22 (SSH), 80 (HTTP), 443 (HTTPS), 8090 (CyberPanel)
